Sylpheo joined Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi

Sylpheo joined the Alliance Connected vehicles & Mobility Services (A-CMS) team to help accelerate the expansion of its connected vehicle and mobility services programs.

The Alliance Connected vehicles & Mobility Services (A-CMS) organization was created in 2016 to fast-track the deployment of new connected mobility solutions for everyone across the Alliance brands at Groupe Renault, Nissan Motor Company and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation.

We are developing the common technology bricks that the Alliance brands will use to design the vehicle of the future; Electric, Connected and Autonomous.

A-CMS has developed the Alliance Connected Cloud, which is enabling us to connect current, future, and past connected vehicles onto the same platform.

This will allow the Alliance member companies to provide new services, not only to the current generation of vehicles but also to some of the 70 million or so vehicles already on the road from Alliance members.

We will provide Alliance’ services around 7 key categories. A few sample examples of such services include: remote diagnostics, journey-planning and peer-to-peer car sharing.

Altogether we are already planning 35 services by 2020, but the big benefit of the platform we are building is that we will be able to quickly adapt to market requirements and deploy new services rapidly.
